RESEARCH ACTIVITY:

Keywords: Visuo-spatial memory; Binding; Memory and schizophrenia; Working Memory; Implicit Memory

Major research areas include

a) investigating short-term visuospatial memory, including the use of chunking strategies in children and adults, the development of binding processes and the interaction between movement and visuospatial working memory;

b) studying the relation between attention and implicit memory in healthy adults (as exemplified by the phenomenon of the Attentional Boost Effect);

c) examining working and long term memory in clinical populations. Latest studies are analysing the status of perceptual and conceptual implicit memory in patients with schizophrenia.
